Licensing

One license for your institution

AIDRE is licensed to colleges and universities, not sold per seat. Your IT team installs it on your own servers, and anyone working for the institution, including faculty, staff and contractors acting on its behalf, can use it for the institution's own materials.

What a license includes

  • The software and its source

AIDRE is licensed to your institution under a written license agreement. Your institution receives the source code, kept confidential to it, with the installation and administration guides and the instructor guide, so your IT team can inspect exactly what runs.

  • Help getting started

Your license includes help with the initial setup, working with your IT team's named technical contact.

  • A year of updates

The first year includes new releases and best-effort fixes for problems your team reports.

  • Yours to keep

After the first year, your institution keeps using the version it licensed, permanently. Optional annual maintenance continues the updates and fixes.

How support works

Support runs through one named technical contact at your institution. Your IT team supports its own users and reports problems to us with the steps to reproduce them. We reply to every report within two business days, and fixes arrive as updates. Because your team has the source code, it can also inspect, patch or roll back on its own schedule.

Pricing

Each institution receives its own quote, based on its size. Multi-campus systems can be quoted together.
